So on Sunday i went to see to of Australia's greatest bands ever. Powderfinger & Jet. As i sat there in awe of their talent i got to thinking who are the greatest 'Australian' bands of all time.
I asked my friends who were with me what they thought and we came up with way more than 10. (Just goes to show the depth of Australia's music talent). Our list also had a few foreigners in it mainly those from across the ditch (NZ).
So after some research and me trying to rank them. Which was very hard here is

My Top 10.

4) Midnight Oil
5) Grinspoon
6) The Living End
7) AC/DC
8) Silverchair
9) Jet
10) The Angels

Now i understand some may disagree with my Top 10. You may even disagree with the ARIA top 10. and that's why music is such a great medium in which to convey emotion. let me know what you think in the comments.
